Finance options in Thailand
Normally foreigners have no real chance to apply for a property mortgage in Thailand.
But there is another option :
Some of the sellers offer owner finance on their own properties to promote the sale of their homes.
The offers are normally quite similar : You pay 50 % down and the balance in 1, 2 or even 3 years. Interest rate is different but normally very low or sometimes even 0 %.
However please note, that on these properties the downpayment in cash has to be
at least 50 % and finance/mortgage for more than 3 years is normally not available.
